Information processed on the public site
Website delivery and security
Hosting and security providers may process technical request data when they deliver or protect the site. This can include an IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser or device type, referring page and security-event data. It is used for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
Privacy-first analytics
Google Analytics 4 stays off unless you select “Accept.” Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled. If optional analytics are rejected, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and optional analytics cookies are not set.
After consent, Analytics may process page URLs and views, referring pages, scroll depth, outbound-link interactions, approximate location (including city), and browser or device characteristics. Email-pattern redaction and redaction of selected URL query parameters reduce inadvertent collection of personal information. Saurvia does not send account IDs, Assessment answers, health narratives or user-provided contact data to Analytics.
Email correspondence
An email to Saurvia includes your address and whatever information you put in the message. The public inboxes are not intended for urgent health information, medical records or sensitive personal data. Do not send those materials there.
Purposes and legal bases
- deliver and secure the site;
- respond to enquiries and possible content corrections;
- understand public-page usefulness after analytics consent;
- maintain legal, security and editorial records where necessary.
Optional analytics relies on consent wherever consent is required. You can withdraw it through “Privacy settings” in the footer. Other processing may rely on legitimate operational interests or applicable legal obligations, depending on location and context.
Cookies and consent
Saurvia offers the same opt-in analytics choice globally instead of inferring a legal regime from a visitor's location. One necessary cookie remembers the choice. Optional Google Analytics cookies can appear only after acceptance. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Service providers and international processing
Infrastructure, security, email and analytics providers support the site. Under their applicable terms and safeguards, they may process information in the United States or elsewhere. Google Analytics is used only after consent.
Retention
A consent preference is stored for up to 180 days. Technical logs and correspondence are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting, response, editorial accountability and legal obligations. Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is set to two months. Analytics cookies expire after up to 60 days, and later page loads do not extend that period.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also withdraw analytics consent at any time. Send requests to privacy@saurvia.com.
Children
Saurvia is intended for adults making animal-care decisions. The public research site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If accounts, Assessments, forms, newsletters, additional analytics or other data-processing functions are added, this policy will receive a new effective date and describe the material change.
